<p>Enjoy the photos I (and Julia) took in Ms. Durant's class last

<p>Ms Druant asked that I assist with building light bulbs; a
science demonstration involving energy, heat, and light. Kids
wired a mechanical pencil lead (carbon) to 12 volts (8 D
batteries) and observed the white hot glow. The kids were quite
excited and a show wasn't guaranteed. Some lights worked, and
other did not, but all enjoyed the spectacle.<br>
