[Danhi] Volunteers with Little Kids

Assuming that this would be permitted, I think that the other children in the classroom would find the presence of a smaller child to be distracting and would focus more on the child than their actual school work. I know Aidan would try and play as much as he could with a smaller child.

Food for thought,

Rachel

While I understand the predicament of many of our parents with a little one at home, I am personally not in favor of this and think there are already enough kids in the classroom. I am also not sure this would be even allowable by the county. Just my (and James) 2 cents worth.

What do you think about volunteers bringing a student's younger sibling to class while volunteering?

For me, I could volunteer more if I could bring Reed, Julia's 2.5 year old brother. I imagine him having a great time working along side Julia. Or maybe we try it and it doesn't work out.

You make the call. Thanks!
