I don't think we're official yet, but kudos to you to on
Fundraising too, right? Yay, we're gonna kick butt! ☺

I don't think we on until the end of the school year, but I'm
not sure. But that doesn't need to slow us down. ☺

I don't know anything about Sagamore signing up for Amazon
Smile. I think you're right that it's Amy Gabriel, the
treasurer, that may have set it up within the year.

I have setup a collaborative inbox at
treasurer@sagamorehillspta.org —the address I think she's
contacted Amazon with—so we can root around in there. If you go
to
https://groups.google.com/a/sagamorehillspta.org/d/forum/treasurer
and sign in as sagamorehillspta@sagamorehillspta.org (I'll send
you the password later) , you can see there's some action
regarding Amazon Smile.

The Sagamore Hills PTA website has a page about fundraising
opportunities ( http://sagamorehillspta.org/fundraising )
written years ago, so is in need up refreshing. (Though, just
the other day I did add some entries for Casino Night and your
guys' awesome Community Discount Cards.) I think Amazon Smile
should at least be mentioned there and maybe linked to its own
page (and we can continue to think about how we can better
present that information). If you want to do it, there are
instructions at http://sagamorehillspta.org/website , or if you
just want to send me some copy I'll post it.

With info on our website about how folks can support Sagamore
Hills through Amazon Smile, we can then ask current
Communications, Nancy Shober, (
communications@sagamorehillspta.org ), to put a blurb in the
Wildcat.

Judos on the Communications position. I’m
not sure when your position becomes effective, but I’m hoping
that you can help me out. I just noticed that Sagamore Hills
ES PTA is listed as a charitable organization with the Amazon
Smile program. I believe that the $ goes to the PTA (I’m
waiting for confirmation from the treasurer), but I had no
idea and I consider myself more informed than others. This is
such a simple way to raise $ for the school so I want to get
the word out and list the easy ways to register the school.
You have to purchase all items through the Smile Program and
not the regular amazon acct so it is a bit tricky and I
sometimes forget. That being said, it is such an easy way to
raise $ for our school and it allows others (family members
and other members of the community) to help the school as
well. At some point, I’d like to send a e-blast out so I’m
giving you a heads up. Any insight is appreciated. Talk to
you soon!
