FANTASTIC DAVE! Makes me very happy that you are looking into it.

The main benefits from this solution or any similar is increased control, flexibility, SAVING TONS OF TIME, increased performance and donations/participation and saving trees.

Myschoolanywhere.com is a VERY versatile SAAS solution that can help out making a LOT of things, including management of events, take payments/sell Sagamore Hills PTA items and overall make your life easier and it is VERY EASY to use. In addition to all individual features it works well as “team ware” so that all in the team are on the same page and are updated. I also like that they have made the directory MOBILE FRIENDLY since about 60% of al webpages loade now are loade on mobile devices.

The future is “in the cloud”, easy to share, easy to update, easy to manage…..

There are a lot of softwares on the market, but MANY are cumbersome to work with, some do not have the features you want, some do not have good support and some are expensive. I have looked at other “School/PTA SAAS solutions” but really feel this is the “Best of breed” I could find – right now anyway. The good thing with myschoolanywhere.com outside great functions and features and good price, that they have been around for a long while and have good support.

Just my 2 cents. I am extremely confident that Sagamore Hills PTA will hugely benefit from start using myschoolanywhere.com. I have no stake in this at all, but I have used it for another school and have experienced the benefits and I also help companies pick softwares so I have more than 10 years experience in screening out and qualify good SAAS/Softwares.

Morningside Elementary, for example, is among many others, using myschoolanywhere.com, so if you have questions you can watch all the videos, the FAQs, call myschoolanywhere.com or maybe call Monringside to see how they like it….

Have a great day and summer. Cheers.

Subject: Evaluating online directory solution

I've established a trial account to evaluate a school directory (and other things) manager called MySchoolAnywhere <https://myschoolanywhere.com/> . I'm still checking it out, and will share my opinion later, but I wanted to share some links in case anyone else cares to join in.

*	Notes <http://www.9.0ne.org/w/Sagamore_MySchoolAnywhere> (anyone can add)
*	Pricing <https://www.myschoolanywhere.com/pricing.html>
*	Introductory videos <https://www.googledrive.com/host/0B5-Bq29kKNGGflJzRm1aV1FhNXZvenVHNkJxUTZlUnZsaDFMVmJoNE9IRjRiY2hYVEFsdms/MySchoolAnywhere.html> (copies I made after gaining access)

I'm primarily looking at it as a directory creation helper—data entry that parents themselves can contribute to and time saving for the directory compiler. That alone might be worth the expense (the PDF for the printer that the process creates). I think the system might allow parents (or the PTA) to purchase printed directories on-demand as well, which might be neat.

There are other features which could be handy too, like volunteer coordination and accepting payments online, but I'm think about other solutions too for those functions (more later).

I heard about the product almost 2 years ago from Sagamore parent, Peter Helander, who says he's experienced it as a parent at another school (I've CC'ed him in).

Would not the PTA, and class reps and you prefer this to the TONS of paper and paper and more paper that gets lost and events missed and more? You would get a lot less stacks of paper and have information available in a much more convenient way. Thoughts?

Subject: International Week

Good Morning!

Attached is a copy of a letter regarding the upcoming International Week at Sagamore Hills. The kindergarten has selected the country of Malawi to study and participate in activities during this week. I will be printing these sheets out as well to send home with the kids.

There is a section where you can volunteer to help out during the course of the week or the night of the big feast. It's a lot of fun and would definitely recommend volunteering or at a minimum coming the night of October 16th.

The t-shirts, bandannas and food is all covered by the money you hopefully have already sent in!

Thanks,

Corette and Beth
